Fujifilm likely to launch GFX100S II Mirrorless Camera Next Month
It's a great moment to be a fan of Fujifilm! According to rumors first published by FujiRumors on April 8, the eagerly awaited Fujifilm GFX100S II medium-format mirrorless camera is expected to go on sale on May 20 and arrive within the following six weeks.
Top-tier 100MP sensor is anticipated to be featured on the GFX100S II.
But there's still more! At the press presentation, rumors have it that Fujifilm will also introduce the X-T50 APS-C mirrorless camera and a new XF16-50mm F2.8-4.8 kit lens. Anticipated features of the X-T50 include an in-body image stabilization system and a 40-megapixel sensor.
Since reports of the GFX100S II's early 2024 launch arose last year, the device has been the talk of the town. With a price tag of approximately US$7,499, which is less expensive than the US$9,999 of the original GFX100, the GFX100S II is expected to be a very attractive choice for fans of medium format cameras.
"Fuji's medium-format camera with the most powerful focusing performance in history," according to reports, is the GFX100S II. It is reported to have a new 100-megapixel sensor, a fifth-generation processor, and a next-generation focus tracking feature that can recognize and identify birds, cars, and other objects. The addition of additional video features such as waveform monitor, anamorphic widescreen mode, and video touch tracking for focusing will delight videographers.
