iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition Lands in India Next Week!

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is what the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition will have.

In celebration of iQoo's fourth year in India, the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition is scheduled to launch in the nation. The launch date and some details of this limited edition model have now been verified by the manufacturer. To commemorate the four-year mark, a new color option for the phone will be offered. The national price of the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition has also been made public. Notably, in December 2023, the triple camera unit-equipped standard iQoo 12 was introduced in India.

According to the company, Amazon and the iQoo India website will start selling the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition in India on April 9. There is a page dedicated to the new phone live on both the official website and the Amazon microsite. According to these postings, the phone will cost Rs. 49,999. During the purchase, buyers can take advantage of free EMI alternatives for up to nine months. Customers of HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank can also receive an instant, conditional discount of Rs. 3,000.

The SuperComputing Q1 display chip and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset are included in the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition. It has an LTPO AMOLED display that runs at 144 Hz and has a local peak brightness level of 3,000 nits. The phone's game frame interpolation will be 144 frames per second (fps). Additionally, it will be compatible with 120W wired fast charging, which promises to charge a phone from empty to 50% in just 12 minutes.

Like the regular iQoo 12, the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition will have a triple rear camera unit for optics. A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter, an ultra-wide-angle lens combined with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 64-megapixel sensor will all be part of it.

Indian consumers can expect to see the Desert Red colorway and vegan leather finish of the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition. In China, this colorway was first offered earlier. The basic iQoo 12 was introduced in India with two color options: Legend (white) and Alpha (black).
